SHINKO ELECTRIC INDUSTRIES CO., LTD.
SHINKO is committed to manufacturing that satisfies customers in terms of quality (Q), cost (C), and delivery (D) while giving careful consideration to safety (S).
In recent years, SHINKO has strengthened its efforts to improve productivity by manufacturing processes and automation using IoT, and incorporating AI into inspection processes. These efforts have further advanced our manufacturing technologies.
Additionally, we conduct in-house training of production engineers and focus on developing human resources for manufacturing.
SHINKO automatically collects and stores large volumes of manufacturing data from each piece of equipment in the production process. We use stored data to visualize alarms and trends based on control lines, and work on various improvement activities such as early detection of errors and quality improvement.
SHINKO collects maintenance data from each piece of manufacturing equipment and performs regular data analysis. By shifting from planned preventive maintenance to predictive and accident-sign-detective maintenance, we are reducing losses from equipment stoppage and achieving increasing production capability.
SHINKO is promoting labor-saving and automation with unmanned transfer robots for cleanroom environments that are designed to prevent dust generation and are capable of adapting flexibly to changes in process routes. We have also introduced articulated robots, and achive to save space and reduce human operation load in processes while handling heavy loads.
SHINKO has equipped its automated visual inspection equipment with AI to enhance inspection accuracy, which not only stabilizes quality but also helps achieve labor savings.
SHINKO focuses on developing human resources for manufacturing by conducting regular training of production engineers, covering manufacturing fundamentals, industrial engineering (IE) methods, cost fundamentals, and the 5S methodology (Seiri (Sort), Seiton (Systematize), Seiso (Shine), Seiketsu (Standardize), and Shitsuke (Sustain)).
By using simulators to forecast production output across manufacturing processes, SHINKO is optimizing commodity distribution and maximizing the effective use of people, products, and space.
SHINKO is digitizing the various forms and records used in manufacturing processes to enable data-driven process management while promoting a shift to paperless operations.
SHINKO's Equipment Engineering Divison, Information System Division, and Engineering Support Division operate independently, providing expert knowledge and technical capabilities to support manufacturing across a wide range of business areas.
