1st Forest Maintenance Activity under the “Adopt-a-forest Program” for FY2026

SHINKO ELECTRIC INDUSTRIES CO., LTD. (“the Company”) hereby announces that it conducted the first forest maintenance activity for fiscal year 2026 on May 30 in forests owned by Iizuna Town, Nagano Prefecture, with the town’s cooperation, as part of the adopt-a-forest program promoted by Nagano Prefecture. As a company deeply rooted in the local community, the Company has participated with SHINKO WORKERS UNION in this project, conducting forest maintenance activities every spring and fall. This latest activity represents the Company's 22nd such initiative. On the day, we were fortunate to have clear weather, and about 80 people, consisting of the Company's employees and their families, participated in the activity and planted 500 Quercus serrata trees.

The Company will continue to focus on environmental conservation and community contribution activities, including the initiatives in Iizuna Town, and will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through its efforts to address various sustainability issues.
